    Great Device, although . . .

I like the NVR. I purchased it and installed a HDD. It works great except for one thing. I didn't know it when I purchased it, but you can't use non-Annke cameras without first putting them on a network and then connecting the NVR to the network. That was very dissapointing since my cameras are PoE and that was one of the reasons I purchased it. So, for now, I have a PoE injector driving the cameras and sending the signal back the the PoE NVR via a router. It works and seems to be very good quality, it's just a bit convoluted since I can't plug the cameras directly into the NVR. You should probably make this a little more obvious in your advertising. One other thing, it is a bit noisy. Not too bad but I suspect it will get noisier over time.

    Perfect Working NVR!

Upgraded my 6 years old ANNKE POE system with this new NVR and I'm very pleased with the new options this one have. Works nice with the existing 6 years old IPC installation.

    Great NVR But…..

I very much like this NVR. It seems to have all the things I want. But the documentation is absolutely terrible. All that came in the box was a quick start guide that had very tiny print. So how do I get all the bells and whistles to work? I don’t know. Do I go to Annke.com? Don’t know. Luckily I had a Hikvision NVR in the past so I can get around somewhat and install cameras etc. I know there is a setup wizard somewhere in the menu because I saw it. However, I can’t get back to it and wish there was documentation to help.
The Annke cameras I have are excellent and the picture quality is excellent it’s just that in comes with TERRIBLY, AWFUL, STINKING, NO GOOD Instructions. Beware! The NVR would be five stars if I had what I need to set it up but since I don’t it’s just gets three stars

Seem like a nice NVR if I ever get it working.

Bought this NVR to replace a perfectly good LaView 8CH unit. I have never been able to view my LaView cameras remotely no matter how many times I tried (and many hours spent). I began to replace the Laview with the new Annke NVR, and plugged in my eight cameras. Only two of the eight came online. I went back through the directions to try and change the protocol to ONVID and install the Laview camera using that protocol, but only one more camera came up online, the other 5 did not (I only changed the protocol on the six camera that would not boot up). Since I have spent more time that I can afford to spareu, I have reinstalled the LaView NVR, and will revisit installing the Annke NVR when time allows. Didn't think it should be this hard, but as I am finding NONE of these systems are that easy to setup and configure AND the instructions are NEVER accurate and sometimes the language used doesn't make sense. The good news is that I was able to view the three cameras I was able to install on the Annke NVR remotely on my phone using Annke Vision, so at least that's encouraging. I will let you know how I make out when I try again to add the other cameras.
